4Knots Music Festival After Party

Updated: July 5, 2014

On Saturday July 12th, Ab-Soul will headline the official Village Voice 4Knots Music Festival After Party at Webster Hall. Tickets are on sale now. For those of you that don’t know, Ab-Soul is the next in line from Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) – Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock.

Ab-Soul is, of course, a superb California-based rapper whose solo output and work with Black Hippy and TDE has made him one of the most dynamic artists in hip-hop over the last couple years. His new album, “These Days” was slated for a June 24th release, and the first track off it,“Stigmata,” features Action Bronson and Asaad. (It’s a stone-cold stunner.)

Also hitting the stage will be one of New York’s new faces, YC the Cynic. YC the Cynic has been blessing us with gems since he hit the scene and is beginning to get the recognition that he deserves more than ever. Witty with the lyrics and talented with the flow, the taller than your average rapper emcee, YC should easily tear down the stage.

Making its home at New York’s legendary South Street Seaport,The Village Voice’s 4Knots Music Festival will be back for a fourth year on July 12, 2014. Continuing the Voice’s 14-year history with live music showcases, 4Knots will be  showcasing renowned and emerging artists on today’s breaking music scene.
